"The story is the motion, not the stillness."

well, the story is neither the motion nor the stillness, the story is whatever you want the story to be, the story is whatever way you're telling the story. the important thing is to tell the story

I had to think on how to reply to this. I appreciate the sentiment of the comment, and you leaving a comment, but I also can't seem to agree. Not all stories are worth telling and sometimes not telling a story is doing the world a favor, we're so over stimulated with content already.

And, i guess, what I meant by the line you quoted was more that stillness moves me more than motion. regardless of what story. I feel it more and really that's my concern here, me feeling things. If it leads--downstream--to others feeling things I'm all for that, but it's not even close to the point for me.

Forgive this reply if it's out of sorts, just got back from physio and feel a little unhinged.

you don't have to feel sorry for anything, there's no need to apologise. c'mon, were adults! and also it is more than ok to have different points of view and not agreeing. i mean no offence with my comment and i'm sure you mean no offence with yours. none is taken anyway. "not all the stories are worth telling and sometimes ..." i do agree with you there. your feelings? man, that's the most important thing when your telling a story.

long story short: my comment was more than anything an encouragement to tell the story. eerrr, don't keep it inside you and let it consume you, instead, tell the story. with words, with images, doesn't matter how, just tell the story. i think the title has lots to do with my comment. the title triggered the connection with this:
